this one of the covers from a five part series (with sequel). overall name is Shadow Dofan and this would be Book 3: Death Is Sorrow's Overflow
the theme for this book is, well, death. the rose was originally supposed to be black but do you know how hard it is to find a good black rose that isn't copyrighted to someone? VERY HARD! so i settled for blue. the stitches, so my mom says, is kind of like it's trying to repair the damage that's done, almost like it's trying to cheat itself from death by stitching itself back together.
